The Department of Mathematics in Doon University was established in the year 2015 as a part of School of Physical Sciences (SoPS). The Department offers post graduate (integrated five year programme), post graduate (two years programme) and doctoral programme. The curriculum of integrated M. Sc. programme is based upon UGC’s choice based credit system (CBCS) and provides the in-depth study of the subject and the related areas. The foundation of the subject is built through Core courses coupled with a choice based specialization of different areas of Mathenmatics through Elective courses. The department offers its Generic Elective courses to other departments in the university as a part of CBCS as well.
