As per the directive of the Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand, the School of Media & Communication Studies adopted a village,Dudhli in March 2015 which is around 10 kms from the University. Ms. Aabshar Abbasi, an Asst Prof. at the School under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Head of the School has organized seven awareness & sensitization activity so far over social/health/educational/career issues and concerns in different parts of the village, which was well received by the residents. The Village Pradhan, Mrs. Heera Thapaal so enthusiastically participated in all activities.
